Good news everyone! Product images and more have been revealed for the upcoming Outlaws of Thunder Junction! This wild west themed set has the distinction of being Magic's 100th expansion! The set will be the last entry in the Omenpath arc which consists of Wilds of Eldraine, The Lost Caverns of Ixalan, Murders at Karlov Manor, and finally Outlaws of Thunder Junction! The confirmed release date is the 19th of April and this is the first time that we will see wild west tropes in the game! We can't wait to see what this Western themed expansion will hold! Play Boosters
As a standard for new sets, Play Boosters will be the main booster with Outlaws of Thunder Juntion! You can pick them up as individual packs or in boxes containing 36 packs! The new Play Boosters are perfect for constructed players with their wildcards but also are draftable for sealed players; offering the best of both worlds. WOTC initially intended to include Epilogue Boosters with this set, but they weren't well received when they first appeared in March of the Machine - Aftermath. All cards that were intended to be Epilogue Booster exclusives will be available in Play Boosters, likely as part of the List!
Bundle
The beloved bundle will of course be returning in this set! It will contain 9 Play Boosters as well as some other awesome bit and pieces! If you don't want to commit to a full booster box and just want a taste of Outlaws of Thunder Junction then we definitely recommend a Bundle!
Collector Boosters
The Collector Booster is for the Magic fan that really wants to indulge! Each pack is filled with epic holos, extended art and borderless cards! The price point for these boosters is significantly higher than the regular Play Booster, but well worth the money if you're a mega-fan of the set! You can grab these individual packs or in boxes of 12! We also have Japanese boxes and packs available to pre-order!
Commander Decks
4 Commander Decks have been confirmed for Outlaws at Thunder Junction! Commander is possibly the most popular format right now and it certainly isn't going anywhere! If you want to get straight to playing, then these pre-constructed decks are perfect for you! Keep reading to find out more about what each deck contains!
The 4 decks are:
- Desert Bloom features three colours: Red, Green and White. The deck will be focused on discarding lands and then brining them back for massive stores of mana!
- Quick Draw This deck definitely satisfies our need for puns! It is a Blue and Red deck and boasts the ability to sling multiple spells and unleash big turns!
- Most Wanted This deck utilises Red, White and Black and is seemingly based around generating a ton of treasure tokens!
- Grand Larceny This deck is maybe not the best choice if you want to be popular at your table. This Black, Green and Blue deck is all about generate mana and stealing your opponents cards!
