Did Somebody Say Blood Angels?

Wearing bright red? Coming down from the sky? Do they know if you've been naughty or nice? It must be that special time! Yes, the Blood Angels are getting a new codex supplement. Let's dive in and see everything these troopers will be getting.

In case you weren't aware, the Blood Angels are one of the most famous of all Space Marines Chapters. The Blood Angels exemplify the image of the Angels of Death more so than any other Space Marines Chapter. However, under their blood-soaked armour lies a murderous rage dating back millennia, to the death of their winged Primarch Sanguinius. Very few people have witnessed the Blood Angels in battle and seen their capacity for apocalyptic violence first hand.

The Combat Parol Blood Angels include:

  • 1x Primaris Librarian (supplied with a Citadel 40mm Round Base)
  • 1x Impulsor (supplied with a Citadel 100mm Round Base and Tank Hover Stand)
  • 5x Primaris Intercessors (5 miniatures, each supplied with a Citadel 32mm Round Base)
  • 5x Primaris Incursors (5 miniatures, each supplied with a Citadel 32mm Round Base, can instead be assembled as Infiltrators)
  • 3x Primaris Aggressors (3 miniatures, each supplied with a Citadel 40mm Round Base)
  • 2x Blood Angels Primaris Upgrade Frames

As we mentioned above the Blood Angels are also receiving a new Codex Supplement, this 80-page Codex will contain the history of the Blood Angels, a detailed description of Chapter organisation, Blood Angels bestiary, rules for the units and much more! This is a must-have for any Space Marines enthusiast. As if that wasn't enough, the Blood Angels will also be receiving Datacards, these are great for quickly referencing the rules, making sure you pick the right stratagem or psychic powers for your battles with ease.

The Blood Angels will make a perfect addition to any Space Marine army, you can check out everything to do with them by having a look at the products below. If you play a different Warhammer 40K army, then you can click the button below to browse our entire range of 40K products.

Rise of the Necrons!

The Necrons are really being spoilt recently, with all the new and exciting miniatures Games Workshop are bringing out for it. The newest and perhaps one of the best additions to the Necrons is C'tan Shard of the Void Dragon. The Void Dragon, sometimes referred to as The Dragon, is one of the only remaining C'tan, and is one of the Necron's star gods in our Galaxy. The Void Dragon, or a large Shard of it, is believed by some Tech-priests to be a Machine God venerated by the Cult of the Machine of the Adeptus Mechanicus. No C'tan Shard of this C'tan has yet been encountered, and it is entirely possible that the Void Dragon has remained intact through the eons and it's essence was never captured within the Necrons' Tesseract Labyrinths. This is a truly terrifying prospect for the galaxy if this entity were to awaken.

Along with the Void Dragon, the Necrons are also getting a remake of the famous Monolith. A Monolith is a massive mobile fortress which the Necrons use as their primary planetary assault craft. A Monolith combines the properties of a transport craft, armoured destroyer and it is an icon of undying Necron power. It is able to float across a battlefield upon its anti-gravity engines, whilst its crystal core pulses with sickly energy that can be manipulated into powerful beams of Gauss lightning which it fires out from its weapon mounts. When its massive silhouette looms over a battlefield, it will lay waste to entire armies with dazzling torrents of gauss fire and the deafening crack of its Particle Whip. Few armies can stand long before the immense firepower of a Monolith. Living troops are reduced to their component atoms by its punishing gauss flux arcs, while tanks rupture and explode in showers of molten steel as it focuses its energies upon them.

Another addition we are ecstatic for is the Ophydian Destroyers. Repugnant to other Necrons, Ophydian Destroyers echo elements of long-forgotten Wraiths and Flayed Ones in their murder-optimised bodies. Destroyers burrow through solid ferrocrete with frenzied violence and leaving shadows of dimensional displacement, they burst into the battlefield to ambush, hack and rend their prey apart in the most brutal ways.

Finally, we are getting Convergence of Dominion. These are groups of 3 Starsteles which were placed upon planets as territorial markers and silent but watchful guardians by the Necron nobles. Over the millennia they have become forgotten archaeological curios or feared sources of superstitious rumour about vanishments and strange lights. Now they awaken again as their masters do. This faction-specific Fortification not only provides covers for your Necron forces as they advance, but it also grants multiple benefits to nearby units. Each of the three Starsteles that make up the Convergence of Dominion is armed with a transdimensional abductor, an ancient weapon perfect for killing any enemies that would dare get too close.

With all these latest new additions to the Necron army, it is clear to see why they have never been so popular! Necrons are well and truly putting up a good fight, Which miniature are you most excited for? Warhammer 40K Next Wave of Miniatures Preorder Now

With the new wave of miniatures just around the corner, we thought it was time to give some love to the Necrons. In these new releases the Necrons get Szarekh, the Silent King. He was the last in the line of Silent Kings to lead the ruling Triarch of the ancient Necrontyr empire. It was during his reign that the Necrontyr encountered the C'tan and underwent the grand biotransference process that transformed the Necrontyr into the undying and soulless Necrons.

However this new wave of releases doesn't just focus on the Necrons, we are so happy to see everybody's favourite faction getting some new miniatures. We are being treated to Primaris Chaplain On Bike. Chaplains are the warrior-priests that minister to the spiritual and psychological well-being of their fellow battle-brothers, instilling in them the values and beliefs of the Chapter and promote the veneration or in rarer cases the actual worship of the Emperor of Mankind. Chaplains lead from the front as awe-inspiring warrior-priests, fighting wherever the foe is most fierce, leading their brethren and praising the Emperor through the destruction of His enemies. Rejoicing in the glorious act of war, Chaplains exhort their battle-brothers to ever greater deeds of bravery and devotion.

Along with these new miniatures we also see brand new codexes for Necrons and Space Marines. Also upcoming is some brand new terrain. We can't wait to build our own custom sets with "Manufactorum" This is another Modular set allowing you to put pieces together however you see fit, to design your idealistic battlefield.
