Gaming Centre Policy

We want to ensure that our Gaming Centres remain the most enjoyable place to play, trade & shop. We want you to have the most fun with friends, family or even by yourself.

Below are the terms and guidance for everything relating to your time in the Gaming Centre. Should you need to speak with us in connection to our Gaming Centres please use the following email: GamingCentre@TotalCards.net

  1. General
    1. We have 24-hour CCTV inside and outside the business premises.
    2. During closed hours Total Cards is protected by an intruder system that will notify the Police immediately upon activation.
    3. Adults are welcome to leave children under the age of 18 unaccompanied or allow them to enter the premises without the presence of an adult. However, we are not responsible for the actions of others whilst on the premises. Staff will remain vigilant and have a duty to make sure everyone is safe and happy whilst playing in the Gaming Centre but we are unable to offer full responsibility as we simply provide a safe and friendly gaming environment, which is unsupervised to a degree. Staff will always remain present in the shop at all times and will be on hand to immediately defuse any situation which is reported or observed by staff.
  2. Code Of Conduct
    1. Any customer caught stealing inside the premises will be issued with a permanent ban as theft will not be tolerated. We also refuse to reconsider any request to have a ban removed as this decision is final. Anyone caught entering the property who has received a permanent ban, will be asked to leave.
    2. We ask for all customers and participants in any activity inside the premises to be courteous, polite, and respectful to others.
    3. Staff are here to help you and we ask that all customers entering the premises please refrain from directing any bad language, physical abuse, or causing any alarm or distress to any of the team. We may have to ask you to leave the building if staff feel you have become hostile or threatening to anyone. In extreme circumstances, we may also call for the assistance of the Police if we feel the situation requires it.
    4. Any injuries involving a customer whilst on the premises must be reported to staff immediately and all accidents will be logged into our accident book. Staff are trained in first aid and fire safety and in the event of any emergency, you will be instructed by staff accordingly.
    5. Any customer caught breaching the peace and causing harm to another customer will be removed from the premises and could potentially be issued with a lifetime ban.
  3. Lost Property
    1. If any lost item is handed over to a member of staff we will keep the item/s safe in storage and hold the item for 60 days. After this time has passed all items will be disposed.
    2. For any item which we believe may be expensive, we will request certain details about the item in question in order to obtain certainty that the item is yours. If you are unable to confirm this we reserve the right to request further proof that you own the item by returning to the Gaming Centre with additional proof. Describing the item might not be enough and we may also need to know the day on which you were in the Gaming Center to validate your request.
    3. Anything that is perishable will not be kept safe, we will dispose of these at the end of each night.
  4. Sale of Goods
    1. We reserve the right to refuse access to any promotion at any time and that the overall authority of any promotion lies at the discretion of the staff member dealing with the transaction or with management at the time.
    2. We also have the right to challenge any order in which we suspect a customer has fraudulently modified the pricing labels on a product. Staff will confirm to you the correct price in the event of a discrepancy and we reserve the right to refuse a sale if we believe that a price has been changed through deception.
    3. For any products which a customer would like to return, please see our Returns Policy.
  5. Events
    1. We offer a Learn to Play service FREE of charge, however during very busy periods staff may advise that they are unable to offer the free service due to limitations with availability. Staff are not obligated to offer this service however, we will always do our best to provide this event to customers to the Gaming Centres.
