How to get started in MTG Commander!

Want to jump into the most popular casual MTG format? Uncertain which products to pick up first? Well do we have good news for you? WOTC have announced some awesome new Commander starter decks coming on December 2nd! These decks feature simple builds that offer new players a perfect jumping off point! Each deck contains everything you need to get started and even include a mini strategy guide to further help new players into the game! These are available to pre-order now, so don't delay and secure your deck now!

Each deck contains the following:

  • 1 Foil-etched legendary commander card and 99 non-foil cards, including lands
  • 10 Double-sided tokens
  • 1 Deck box
  • 1 Insert with strategy advice for the deck
  • 1 Summary of the rules for playing Commander
  • 1 Reference card with guidance for what to do on your turn
  • Punchout counters

The decks that are available include:

  • First Flight A white and blue deck that features Isperia, Supreme Judge as the commander!
  • Grave Danger This Blue and Black deck has Gisa and Geralf as the commander
  • Chaos Incarnate Kardur, Doomscourge is the commander for this Black and Red deck
  • Draconic Destruction Atarka, World Render heads up this Red and Green deck!
  • Token Triumph This Green and White deck boasts Emmara, Soul of the Accord in the position of Commander
