5 Epic Things to expect from Battle for Baldur's Gate!

The epic Battle for Baldur's Gate is the next MTG set and we are extremely hyped for this D&D crossover! The set has an official release date of 10th of June and will be based around an awesome selection of Commander Cards and designed to be a draftable experience, just like the original Commander Legends. There is a ton of things to be excited for, but we have narrowed them down to 5, including 3 returning features and 2 all-new features that we just can't wait for!

D&D Characters We will of course see the return of a ton of fan-favourite characters, including Tasha, Elminster, Mordekainen, and of course Minsc and Boo! Also returning are Mind Flayers, Owlbears and of course Dragons! There is no end to the ammount of awesome D&Dness in this set! If you're a D&D player the this is definitely set you don't want to miss!

Dungeons The dungeon mechanic makes it's triumphant return after first appearing in the first D&D crossover set! The epic Undercity is the only dungeon released in this set but it offers a ton of options to get the advantage over your opponents!

Rulebook Frames The showcase card frames for Battle of Baldur's Gate are the same as those featured in Adventures in the Forgotten Realms, but are no longer limited to just creatures! All of your favourite enchantments and more will be featured in this awesome Classic Rulebook style inspired by the early days of Dungeons & Dragons!

Initiative The new Initiative feature functions primarily to the previously introduced Monarch designation! Taking the Initiative means that you can venture into the Undercity and rack up a number of advantages against your opponent!

Backgrounds A Background adds extra abilities to your Commander, and changes their colour identity. These make your Commander even more customisable and offer a ton of opportunities for unique combos and styles of deck.
