Lorcana was a huge hit during the launch a few weeks ago, and already they've announced a new set! Rise of the Floodborn was revealed earlier today, and the first look is incredible! With new cards, stunning artwork and a Disney's 100 Anniversary announcement, we are eager to see more on the run up to early December!
As expected, we're getting another 200+ cards with brand-new artwork! We can expect to see the likes of Winnie the Pooh, Tiana and more in the line-up! We're also looking forward to seeing Zootopia, The Jungle Book and Raya and the Last Dragon included in the next set!
A new keyword is making its debut too! Resist is a new keyword that indicates how much additional damage characters may be able to withstand. For example, a character with Resist + 2 would mean any damage dealt to them is reduced by 2. Pretty neat!
The following products have been revealed:
- Boosters: Each booster pack will contain 12 cards and will also be available in Booster Boxes. The pack art showcases Raya, The Queen of Hearts, and Beast. Each pack contains:
- 6 Common Cards
- 3 Uncommon Cards
- 2 rare, super rare or legendary cards
- 1 foil card (random rarity level)
- Starter Decks 2 Starter decks were revealed featuring:
- [Amber & Sapphire] Evil Queen and Gaston
- [Amethyst & Steel] Merlin and Tiana
- Illumineer’s Trove A collector set similar to Bundles from MTG and Elite Trainer Boxes from Pokemon TCG. It contains:
- 8 Booster Packs
- 2 Deck Boxes
- 1 Player's Guide
- 15 game tokens
- 1 Storage Box

Disney 100 Collector's Edition This special edition of the gift set contains:
- 4 Boosters
- 6 foil cards illustrated by Disney animators
There's also been a sneak peek at some of the accessories, which feature at least Beast and Winnie the Pooh! These products are released on November 17th at local game stores, and December 1st for the wide release featuring the Disney100 Edition of Lorcana!
