Massive news has dropped regarding the future of the beloved Dragon Ball Super card game! A new version of the game will debut next February under the new title - Fusion World!

The new game will be based on the current game rules, with Fusion World promising a more intuitive card battle experience! The game will also have a digital equivalent to the traditional tabletop version, which is expected to be released alongside and may utilise the code card system (similar to Pokemon), but this has not been confirmed.

Not much has been revealed about the game rules yet, but we know that they will use two main mechanics: Awaken and Combo! Awaken always triggers when your life is reduced to less than half and transforms your leader, unleashing the power hidden inside. Combo allows you to increase both your offensive and defensive capabilities by using two or more cards in combination, a mechanic that Dragon Ball players will already be very familiar with.
