Eco-friendly policies at Total Cards!

At Total Cards we are very conscious of our impact on the environment. With global warming and deforestation a serious problem faced around the world we always try our best to minimise our impact and carbon footprint whilst also maintaining a 5 star service and delivering awesome products to our valued customers! With this in mind, we take steps to do our part for the environment.

Environmentally conscious packaging Plastic packaging is a massive problem in many commercial settings, which is why we work to reduce the amount of plastic in our packaging to a minimum. We use carboard boxes as the basis or all of our parcels and try to use carboard shredding whenever possible. We shred this cardboard ourselves in our warehouse, from cases and boxes from our suppliers. Not only does this provide an excellent ammount of protection for precious products, the shred is also recyclable and is easily discarded after your order.

Boxless Initiative For some products we introduced a boxless version. With this, we could send the contents out to you without the unwanted & additional packaging that usually comes with it. There are 2 main benefits to this. We are able to reduce the cost you pay when purchasing this even further. We then recycle, reuse and dispose of the packaging ourselves. This new option also means less materials used to pack orders and in turn helps lower the impact on vehicles used in transporting orders. Although we do not have any boxless products available at the moment, we are looking to reintroduce them in the future.

Website Hosting Our website is hosted by a company using 100% renewable energy and we also work with companies who are also making their own positive changes to lower their impact on the environment.
