Experience the rise and fall of the greatest city that ever was in Merv - The Heart of the Silk Road! In the game, players attempt to redirect as much wealth as possible into their own pockets. At its core, Merv is an economic strategy game but also factors in other elements such as city building and resource management. Whilst the main aim is to increase your wealth through the securing of trade deals, players must also sacrifice some of their belongings to build city walls. Failure to build the walls could lead to a razing of the great city by the violent and war-hungry Mongol horde. Merv supports up to 4 players and takes 60 to 90 minutes to play, which makes it a great addition to any board game collection.
