Full steam ahead with Irish Gauge!

Irish Gauge is a charming strategy game designed by Tom Russel with artwork by Ian O'Toole. The game takes place in mid-180s Ireland and focuses upon the expansion and building of the railway networks in the country. The game accommodates 3 to 5 players and takes around an hour to play. On your turn, you may either auction a share of any available company, build railway track in one of the companies, upgrade a small town to a city, or request dividends to be paid. Upgrading towns and requesting dividends affect the length of the game as well as the likelihood of companies paying dividends in the future. At the end of the game, the player with the most money plus stock value is declared the winner!

Each copy of Irish Gauge comes loaded with the following game pieces:

  • 1 Game Board
  • 16 Share Certificates
  • 95 Locomotives
  • 5 Railway Dividend disks
  • 30 Dividend cubes
  • 1 Bag
  • 70 Currency cards
  • Instructions
