Tak is a two-player abstract strategy game dreamed up by Pat Rothfuss in "The Wise Man's Fear" and made reality by James Ernest. In Tak, players attempt to make a road of their pieces connecting two opposite sides of the board. The game supports 2 players and takes around 60 minutes to play a game. If you love intense and involved abstract strategy games such as Chess or Shogi, then this definitely the game for you.

Each copy of the game includes the following components:

  • 52 wooden pieces:
    • Flat stones
    • Standing stones
    • Capstones
  • Game boards
  • Rulebook
