Success!! Last week our team emerged victorious against Rêve de Manga in the first round, and have earned themselves some awesome playmats and a space in the second round! We would like to congratulate our team on their victory and wish them the best of luck in their matches on Sunday! In their Second Outing, our team will be up against the team from Games Hub, a store here in the UK! If our team is victorious they will advance to the next round!
If you don't know how the tournaments work, our team will be against another game store and the winning team will advance to the next round! During the tournament each team will select a team captain and the other three players will fight it out over three rounds. Each of the three players will play against the three players of the other team (best out of three)! Teamwork is of vital importance, as players from each team will be able to coach one another and advise on their play. Another tactical element is the selection of the captain, which gives the opportunity to select the three decks with the biggest advantage over the opponents!
The Total Cards team consists of:
- Santino Franco a.k.a TheBigPokeNerd Santino is running a powerful ADP deck. This deck has dominated the recent metagame with its use of the strong Arceus, Dialga & Palkia GX!
- Matthew Rowberry a.k.a. RandomIoMTCG Matthew is playing the most powerful deck to come out of Battle Styles: Rapid Strike Urshifu!
- Bradley Marlow a.k.a. Brad30013329 Bradley is utilising a Victini Deck, which runs multiple copies of both Victini V and Victini VMAX!
- Richard Davey a.k.a. Rico404 Richard is also running an ADP deck, which is a testament to the power of the deck!
The Games Hub Team consists of:
- Jorge Salas a.k.a. jey_es Jorge will be playing with a Vicitni-Rapidash deck, which runs 2 copies of Galarian Rapidash V from the new V Box, 3 copies of Vicitni V and 2 copies of Victini VMAX!
- Scott Burgess a.k.a. ScottyB0303 Scott is basing his strategy around Whimsicott and is running a large amount of Pokemon tools!
- Chris Moir a.k.a. Dryadne Chris is playing a deck based around Togekiss V and VMAX!
- Rose Gregson a.k.a. Addz Rose is running a Mad Party deck based around filling the discard pile with Mad Party Pokemon and striking with massive attacks!
