Big news this week for all Pokemon trainers ready to battle! Brand new Pokemon ex Battle Decks have been revealed featuring Gen 9's Tinkaton and Chien-Pao!
The Battle Decks themselves include:
The Chien-Pao deck especially is expected to make a big splash in the competitive game! It Silvery Chill ability is super powerful allowing you to search your deck for up to 2 Basic Water Energy. In combination with Hail Blade which deals an extra 60 damage for each Water energy you discard. This leaves a lot of room for super powerful combos and when you factor in Chien-Paos weakness is Steel (and not electric), this makes it much harder to stop.
We expect that the upcoming Palkia VSTAR League Battle Deck paired with this ex Battle Deck will be a killer combination, making it super easy to grab a competitive deck! When combined with the likes of Baxcalibur, which will be released in Paldea Evolved, it becomes very easy to overwhelm your opponents.
Skaters' Park from Fusion Strike is another killer combination that puts discarded energy back into the players hand! This essentially recycles energy endlessly, meaning you are always ramping up to bigger and bigger attacks!
Chien-Pao ex is set to have its alternate art promo feature in the Paldea Evolved set however the promo for Tinkaton is being cut from the set and it featuring as the promo in it's Tinkaton ex deck!
