COVID-19 - Delivery Update!

April 20th Update!

After monitoring the situation, Royal Mail deliveries are taking significantly longer to arrive than expected with an average of 7 working days added to the delivery times.

To highlight the massive task Royal Mail have we have attached an image to show just one of their sorting centers in the UK!

If you are worried about your order, please only contact us if it is over 8 days since it was dispatched as our support team are currently inundated with messages. DPD deliveries are currently not affected.

Once we have any more updates about our delivery times we will update this blog once again.

As the ongoing situation with COVID-19 continues to develop we intend to keep you all updated with every part of our service, this includes delivery companies we work with.

Over the last two weeks we have seen deliveries with Royal Mail taking longer than anticipated due to a lot of people working from home and shopping online.

Royal Mail have seen a massive increase in the volume in their network which means that 1st & 2nd class deliveries are both not guaranteed to arrive when expected.

At the moment, we have not seen any delays with DPD deliveries so if you are needing your order soon, this is the advised delivery method to select at the checkout for the time being.

As always, when or if we receive any information relating to any possible change to this, we will let you all know.

Royal Mail have also been tasked to deliver and return medial kits for the NHS & care Staff, so as test numbers are in creased weekly, we may see more of an impact to delivery timeframes. Although this wont have a dramatic impact on deliveries, it is worth keeping it in mind, as deliveries will continue to experience delays in some areas.

As well as the increase of parcels in the Royal Mail network, they are also operating with reduced staff due to the current circumstances and are working tirelessly to keep up with the demand.

With this in mind, we please ask customers to only get in touch with us regarding delayed deliveries if your order still hasn't arrived with you after 5 working days since your order was dispatched.

We are monitoring this situation daily with delivery companies and as soon as any further updates are received, we will be updating the blog.
