Draft in style with Commander Legends!

Magic The Gathering October 14, 2021 - 11:00 AM 0 Comments Matt Farmer

Commander Legends heralded the very first set designed for commander which is intended to be drafted! Each booster contains 20 cards and players use 3 packs to draft with. For each pick, players take two cards to construct a deck of 60 cards. All commander rules apply, apart from the singleton rule: players are allowed to use as many copies of a card that they drafted. Alongside the draft format, the set also contains a ton of cards that have been reprinted for use in the regular commander format, adding an enhancement to the social format. Alongside the main set, Commander Legends also saw the release of two pre-constructed commander decks in Arm for Battle and Reap the Tides!

Commander Legends contains 361 regular cards, 156 of which are cards new to the set:

  • 141 commons
  • 120 uncommons
  • 77 rares
  • 22 mythic rares
  • 1 special
